The SBI SO Exam is held by the State Bank of India to hire officers in various specialist categories. It is accepting applications for specialist officer (SO) positions in various departments. Recruitment is most typically done for managerial positions, however, notifications are also issued for senior-level positions.
Candidate Criteria for the SBI SO 2023 Examination:
Nationality requirement: Applicants for SBI SO must be an Indian citizen, a subject of Bhutan, a subject of Nepal, a Tibetan refugee (who arrived in India before January 1, 1962), or a person of Indian origin (who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, Vietnam, or other countries) to set a permanent residence in India.
If an applicant is not an Indian citizen, they must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Indian government in their favor; otherwise, the offer of appointment will be withdrawn.
Age requirement: The majority of the positions have an age range of 21 to 50 years. Applicants from the reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) are given an advantage in terms of age.
Applicants in the general category are allowed to take the SBI SO exam a maximum of four times, according to SBI guidelines. OBC candidates are granted a total of seven attempts. There are no limitations for candidates that fall within the SC/ST category.
Educational Qualifications for the SBI SO 2023 Examination:
The majority of SBI SO positions require at least 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Examination Pattern for the SBI SO 2023:
On a regular/ contractual basis, a separate exam is held to hire Specialist Officers as Assistant Managers, Engineers, Officers, Architects, Designers, Administrators, Tester, Managers, Analysts, Developers, and other positions.
