No, Arts students can apply only for the Army branch through the NDA exam. To apply for the Air Force and Navy branches of NDA, the candidate must have passed class 12th with specified subjects.

After training for three years, the cadets are given graduation with Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Computer Science degree.

The cadets receive an allowance of ₹2000 along with the government looking after their basic expenses.
