Here is the list of the Best Books to prepare for the CTET 2022 examination. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a competitive exam conducted every year to recruit aspiring teachers who want to pursue a career in teaching.

Educational Qualifications for Paper-1 (Primary Level):

  1. Applicants must have received at least 50% of their marks in senior high school or its equivalent. They must also have completed or be in the last year of their 2-year Elementary Education Diploma.
  2. They must have received at least 45 percent in their senior secondary or equivalent exam, according to NCTE Regulations, 2002 (Recognition Norms and Procedure). They must also have completed or be in the final year of a two-year elementary education diploma program.
  3. They could potentially be in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program. They must, however, have received at least 50% in their senior secondary or equivalent.
  4. 50 percent on the senior secondary or comparable examination, as well as passing or being in the last year of a two-year education diploma program (Special Education).
  5. They must be a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in education and an overall grade point average of at least 50%.

Educational Qualification for the Paper 2 (Upper Primary Level):

  1. A graduate applicant who has completed or is in the last year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma.
  2. At least a 50% grade point average in high school and a passing or acceptable grade in a one-year bachelor’s degree program in education.
  3. They can also have a 45 percent graduation rate if they pass or appear in the 1-year Bachelors in Education program, according to NCTE regulations.
  4. Candidates must have received a minimum of 50% in their senior secondary or equivalent exam. They must also have completed or be in the final year of a four-year bachelor’s degree program in elementary education.
  5. Applicants may also have completed or will be completing the final year of their four-year B.A./ B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/ B.Sc. Ed program. They should have received a 50% or higher in their senior secondary or equivalent.
  6. Applicants might be graduates or students enrolled in a one-year B. Ed. program (Special Education). They must be a graduate with at least a 50% grade point average.

Criteria for Reservations in the CTET 2022 Examination:

There are no seats reserved for applicants that fall into the reserved category.

Applicants from the reserved categories of SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently Abled receive a 5-percentage-point reduction in the educational qualification’s qualifying marks in the eligibility requirement.

Number of Attempts in the CTET 2022 Examination:

There is no limitation to the number of attempts a candidate can take for CTET. There is no upper age limit as well. So, once the candidates satisfy the minimum educational qualification requirements, they can take the exam any number of times.
